Conran Contracts worked with Vonsung on their stunning new restaurant concept Viet Hoa Mess. The brief was minimal, simple and efficient. It elegantly describes the main elements of the restaurant: two staggered, interlinked and very different restaurant forms (Cafe and Mess) connected by a central theme.

The concept of the Viet Hoa Mess restaurant is the marriage of gothic with the classical. It plays on the contrasts of natural materials and impressions: stone, concrete and metal to wonderful effect.
